A Diaspora
Engagement
Ecosystem

Uganda Global Forum is a global platform that brings together Ugandans in the diaspora, institutions, and partners to engage in a coordinated, structured, and long-term way around Uganda’s development priorities.

Built for Continuity. Designed for Coordination.

What UGF Is

A Platform, Not a Project

UGF is a non-governmental, diaspora-led platform working at a global level to advance diaspora engagement.
We exist to move engagement beyond one-off events and informal conversations by building the systems, structures, and relationships that allow diaspora knowledge, leadership, and resources to contribute meaningfully and sustainably.
UGF operates as a steward and coordinator – aligning people, institutions, and ideas into a shared ecosystem.

Our Approach at a Glance

UGF uses a systems-based approach to diaspora engagement that prioritizes coordination, institutional alignment, and continuous learning. This approach moves engagement beyond one-off activities toward sustained, measurable, and long-term impact.

Systems-Driven

We focus on building coordinated, long-term engagement systems rather than isolated activities.

Institution-Anchored

We work through institutions so diaspora engagement is absorbed, applied, and sustained.
