Our vision

A globally connected Ugandan diaspora transforming knowledge and expertise into national progress.

About

Weaving Dreams into Reality

UDTT operates under the umbrella of Uganda Global, a broader movement that celebrates Uganda’s global presence and mobilizes its people abroad for collective impact. In close collaboration with government institutions and development partners, UDTT fosters inclusive participation, coordinated engagement, and the translation of global insights into actionable national outcomes.

Through its thematic chapters and communities of practice, UDTT organizes diaspora expertise around key sectors aligned with Uganda’s development priorities, driving continuous policy dialogue, research collaboration, and skills transfer. This structured approach ensures that diaspora engagement goes beyond symbolic events, cultivating sustained networks that connect knowledge, innovation, and opportunity for Uganda’s transformation.
